Custom-designing your own itinerary is not the only advantage that Flexi-Program offers, you also receive better rates than if you were to book the hotels, rental car company directly and in advance. The Flexi-Program rates are lower than the rack or walk-in rates.
This is how it works!
On your arrival day a representative from Cuban Travels will meet you at the airport and provide transfer to your hotel which is already prebooked.
The next morning a rental car is delivered to your hotel by the rental company. You will also have a briefing meeting at your hotel with an experienced English-speaking guide who will provide your accommodation vouchers, answer any questions you have about driving in Cuba, discuss your travel plans, etc.
Then you are off to explore on your own! You go as you please, choosing hotels and lodges from the category you selected. There are over 80 hotels covering almost the whole country. You can stay as many nights as you like in each hotel. The only condition is that you book as you go, no sooner than the morning of the day before. When calling or checking in, you must identify yourself as a Cuban Travels Flexi Drive client
In each main areas there is a choice of hotels and lodges, so if one hotel is full there is a very good chance that another will have space. If within the main area where you want to stay no hotels in your category have space just call Cuban Travels who will assist you in finding you an alternative in that same area or near that area.
At the end of your trip, simply drop the car at the rental company's office at the airport.
